Umeed-e-Noor, a project of Hashoo Foundation’ Special Needs Program, received a donation from the Embassy of Thailand during a ceremony to celebrate the graduates who had passed out from Umeed-e-Noor’s Skills Development training courses.
The chief guest on this event was Mrs. Jiraporn Jitpatani, wife of Thai Ambassador, and the Guest of honor was Mrs. Kumari, wife of Sri Lankan Ambassador.
The guests were shown the various facilities at Umeed-e-Noor, including its ward, physiotherapy room, Skills Development Program, computer and speech therapy room. The guest mingled with the students happily and appreciated the efforts of Hashoo Foundation in promoting the needs and rights of people with disabilities.
Mr. Ishfaq Ahmed, representing Hashoo Foundation thanked the guest for their visit and graciously accepted a donation that will help Umeed-e-Noor become a “Center of Excellence”.
