HDRC Lahore launched One Month Cooking Course “THE RAMADAN CHEF” for local residents of Lahore especially women. To abreast participants with salient features of offered course, an orientation was held at HDRC-Lahore on May 31, 2016 , which was attended by 18 trainees. Mr. Javaid Akhter Sr. Regional Programs Manager welcomed the participants and shared his witty remarks about emerging field of Hospitality. “Inception of this course is just start, once you got entered, this would envisage more avenues of Culinary Arts” said Mr. Javaid. You would enjoy and learn a lot; as I am confident, however perfection needs continue practice and patience which you already own, Sr. Manager claimed during his welcome note.
Following the proceeding of session, Mr. Usman – Project Coordinator shared his thought provoking ideas behind this offered course” to introduce mix blend of Pakistani, Desi, Continental and Italian cuisines based on especially aligned RAMADAN recipes. “You are lucky enough that through this offered training, you would enjoy more than 90 recipes in a month; said Mr. Usman. He wished for a prosperous & blessed future for the participants, as this bond affectionate relationship may enlist ever.
Key objectives of this offered trainings are to Impart Cooking skills related to selective cuisines to be prepared during Ramadan (Sahar and Iftar) and to Comprehend and update the knowledge, competencies and skills of beneficiaries through live cooking practices. Rana Abdur Rehman-Training Officer, Muhammad Akif Job Placement Officer & Shakir Hussain – Admission & Counseling Officer were also present at the session.
