Relief Operations in Tharparkar Sindh

The aim of this operation was to provide emergency relief services to the following 3 Tehsils: Islamkot, Mitthi and Diplo in Tharparkar.

HF successfully established a conveniently located warehouse for food storage and to provide easy access to the drought affected villages. The team distributed food ration cards to 500 vulnerable families, in collaboration with local stakeholders, to ensure the structured and fair distribution of both food and water. The team began distributing resources and launched its Mobile Health Unit (MHU), which provided medical services to 6,312 patients. Along with conducting the MHU, our medical team also provided essential education sessions regarding food nutrition and hygiene to the beneficiaries. The team led by an MBBS doctor included nurses, dispensers and medical technicians. Drought affected families, including women and children benefit from free medical consultations, health education and medicine.
