Hashoo Foundation Announces New CEO: Ms. Sumeira Hashwani

Hashoo Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Sumeira Hashwani as Chief Executive Officer. She will lead the Foundation’s strategic vision and development portfolio, strengthening its commitment to inclusive growth and community empowerment. A purpose-driven leader with experience across philanthropy and social enterprise, Ms. Sumeira brings a thoughtful and hands-on approach to advancing education, livelihoods, skills development, and sustainable enterprise initiatives that expand economic opportunity for marginalized communities. She previously served on the Board of Hashoo Foundation, contributing to governance and strategic direction, and led Organiks Plus as CEO, scaling its social impact while supporting sustainable livelihoods for rural women. As CEO, Ms. Sumeira will focus on strengthening governance, expanding strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable impact across the Foundation’s work in livelihoods, climate resilience, and social inclusion.
